EMFLUX ONE: THE ADVANCED ELECTRIC BIKE BY BANGALORE BASED STARTUP

Electric power, one of the most efficient power source in the world. But what, if i tell you that a electric bike is getting ready to sprint on road with a top speed of 200 km/h and has a acceleration of 0-100 kmph in just 3 seconds. Now it is mind-boggling.
                                           
                                                A Bangalore-based start-up Emflux Motors have unveiled its first electric superbike at the 2018 Auto Expo.
                            
                        YES.... YOU READ THAT RIGHT. AN INDIAN COMPANY!!!
 
          Their very first model "The Emflux" One is powered by an electric motor that puts out 80.4 BHP and 84 Nm of peak torque. It is claimed that the bike will 100 km/h in 3 seconds while its top speed is 200 km/h.
                  
                                     The bike gets advanced features like Brembo brakes with dual-channel ABS, single-sided swing-arm, Ohlins suspension and lightweight forged alloy wheels.


The company is also planning to bring a naked version of the sports bike, which will be called the Model 2 which will come in two variants with a range of 150 kms and 220 kms.

Peugeot to decide on future of UK Vauxhall car plant in 2020: PEUGEOT CEO

P eugeot-maker  PSA  will decide in 2020 whether to keep its British  Vauxhall  car plant open with new investment as it improves efficiency and awaits the outcome of Brexit talks, the French automaker's boss said on Wednesday. PSA bought General Motors' loss-making European arm last year, which includes both Opel and its British sister brand Vauxhall, and is trying to return it to profitability, cutting a third of the workforce at its British car plant. On Wednesday, the firm unveiled new investment to boost van production by around two-thirds at its other British manufacturing site in the southern English town of Luton. Chief Executive  Carlos Tavares  said whilst PSA had to decide now on boosting van output, it could wait until 2020 to make a decision regarding car production at Ellesmere Port, where he said the current run of Astra models ends as late as 2023.
