The best sport-tourer:- KAWASAKI NINJA H2 SX

You’d think after stunning the motorcycle sphere with the supercharger-equipped H2R and H2 sportbikes several years ago that Kawasaki would be done with that forced-induction thing for a while. But after a full day of riding the new 2018 Kawasaki H2 SX SE through the mountains surrounding San Diego, it’s pretty obvious the company is still doing plenty of R&D on the concept. And the latest result is a surprisingly capable hypersport-tourer with serious speed…though, like its H2/H2R brethren, that speed doesn’t come cheap.

The engine’s ram-air intake, throttle bodies (resized from 50mm down to 40mm), cylinder head ports, and exhaust headers (now 2.2mm smaller in diameter) have all shrunk in size in order to boost flow velocity (and hence, power) at lower rpm than the H2/H2R. The direct-drive centrifugal supercharger impeller’s blade shape and angles have been subtly reworked to provide better pressure at lower rpm (the impeller still spins at 9.2 times crank rpm), and the cams have less duration and overlap to deliver improved cylinder filling at lower engine speeds. New pistons (still cast rather than forged for less weight) now force a much higher 11.2:1 compression ratio—the H2/H2R has 8.5:1 compression—for better thermal efficiency and power production at slower engine speeds while still avoiding engine-killing detonation. In fact, the piston upgrade alone demonstrates how far technology has come; a compression ratio that high with forced induction was previously unheard of because of the tendency for detonation.

The SX’s chassis has also undergone some significant modifications. The rigidity has been increased, with the rear section beefed up to handle the additional loads of a passenger and optional hard luggage. The steering head has been extended forward 15mm, with the engine tilted forward an additional 2 degrees, while the single-sided swingarm has been lengthened 15mm as well. The lower center of mass and 30mm longer wheelbase give the SX enough stability that Kawasaki decided to forego the steering damper fitted to the H2, with the OEM-spec Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S21 tires providing surprisingly agile handling for a bike that scales in at a claimed 573 pounds full of gas (9 pounds less for the standard SX). The SX carves corners well and can more than hold its own on twisty roads.

The SE model also has other additional amenities compared to the standard SX that include heated grips, a taller windscreen, slightly different seats, and a multi-configurable, full-color TFT information panel opposite the analog tachometer. The seat was one of the few gripes we had with the H2 SX SE; while fine for short trips.

                                                                     INFORMATION PANEL

Well,The KAWASAKI claims that it is the best sport-tourer in the world and a full day with it in the Auto-expo 2018, supports their claims. I personally feel that the side box should be in both side of the bike. One sided box is slightly ruining it's looks.
Although, we can't deny the fact that the all new KAWASAKI H2 SX have potential and we all hope that it will perform well in all countries.
